  • Looking for a fun activity that is self-checking, collaborative and practices writing quadratic functions in vertex form? This is a set of 16 problems that need to be cut apart, reassembled in the correct order and fastened together like a chain until the end is reached.
  • There are so many questions that require a thoughtful answer. While I have never written most of them down, some of them eventually get covered in my syllabus. But parents and students will ask and teachers do not want to have that blank star. Here are my burning questions with possible answer.
  • Students practice finding measures of angles in Isosceles Triangles in this group collaborative activity. Teacher passes out 4 different versions of the worksheet, students work to solve the problems getting help from their group. When the timer goes off, students meet in one of the four corners matching their worksheet to compare and correct their answers, discussing with a new group.

This is a set of 16 problems that need to be cut apart, reassembled in the correct order and fastened together like a chain until the end is reached. The angles are vertical angles, linear pairs, corresponding angles, consecutive interior angles, alternate exterior angles and alternate interior angles. #bluemountainmath #geometry
  • Are you looking for an interactive and self-correcting resource to practice finding the measure of segments in circles with your students? There are 2 different pictures with 16 problems for each picture. Students start with the picture totally covered by the answer boxes. As they answer each question correctly, more and more of the covered picture is revealed.
  • Looking for a collaborative activity that gets kids working together using the distance formula, talking about math and helping each other learn? Partner Practice is that activity. This resource has 3 different pairs of collaborative worksheets for students. Pairs of students complete worksheets of different problems that have the same answer. So students each do problem 1 and compare answers to see if they match.
